For the very first time, Frederique Constant is sublimating its Tourbillon Manufacture with a natural mother-of-pearl dial. This rare combination, housed in an elegant 39 mm case in 18-carat white gold, sheds new light on this emblematic watchmaking complication, which has been at the heart of our House since 2008.
A LIMITED EDITION OF 36 NUMBERED PIECES
Tourbillon and mother-of-pearl are an unusual combination. Soft and warm, it reveals subtle variations of grey and blue that enhance the purity of the 18-carat white gold case, the brilliance of the hand-applied hour-markers, the blued screws of the tourbillon with silicon escapement and the infinite nuances of the natural mother-of-pearl. An exceptional, radiant and luminous timepiece, only 36 individually numbered pieces will be produced.

This new edition of the Black Bay 58 retains all the core design elements from TUDOR throughout the ages and includes aesthetic notes from a prototype TUDOR Submariner ref. 79190 developed in the ‘90s. The watch boasted a brilliant burgundy dial with a matching bezel. It never saw production, but this design now lives on in the form of a brand-new Black Bay 58. The burgundy unidirectional rotatable bezel offers very prehensible sides and its insert shows subtly curved numerals aligning with the outline of the outer ring.
